Mark ‘Good Vibes’ Taylor and musical cohort George Arthur share the Spiritland vision of no-compromise approach to sound quality and curation. They bring the sound of their Reference Point listening session to our system with a selection of latin, jazz, AOR and Americana.

Joe Goddard puts his Hot Chip synth down, packs up his 2 Bears drum machine away and dubs things out with Salty B for a Monday night of reggae music.

The inimitable Jonny Trunk mines his collection for black gold in his first appearance at Spiritland. Expect pop music from the 1950s, honking big bands, swinging OSTs and rare, groovy jazz.

Bradley Zero and Zakia join forces for a night of deep musical exploration touching on all things soulful and beat-driven from the past, the present and the future.

We welcome La Roux to Spiritland for night of music from her collection. Post-disco, psych and cosmic pop vibes are all in the mix. Support comes from Michelle Kelly (Adventures In Paradise) playing from 7pm with La Roux at 10pm. Early entrance is advised.

DJ, photographer, designer and polymath Jan Hammered plays the good stuff on Saturday evening. Synth-heavy funk and head-nodding jams come to the fore.

Phil Mison is a selector and producer of great subtlety and distinction. Come and join him for an afternoon of casual and eclectic listening from his extensive record collection.

Ruf Dug


Ruf Dug is a man on a mission. Ploughing a distinctive line in production that touches on the video game aesthetic, tropical dubs and unloved synth patches, he brings his leftfield take on music to our Sunday night listening session.

With a musical journey via Lisbon, Los Angeles and London, Alex Patchwork brings a perpetually fresh and upfront sound to his visit to Spiritland.

Mr Thing


The legendary hip hop producer, record collector and DMC award-winning scratch DJ Mr Thing joins us to explore in the deeper end of his crates. Rare funk, jazz breaks and soul on 45 are all expected. It’s the unexpected stuff you need to look out for.

DMX Krew


Ed DMX brings his unique and distinctive style to Spiritland. One of the chief architects of the Rephlex label’s ‘braindance’ sound, music has flowed from his studio at a remarkable rate, paying tribute to 80s pioneers such as Man Parrish, Vince Clarke and Kraftwerk. Pristine 80s synth jams, modular funk, smooth electro and the odd excursion into reggae are all on the menu.

Dom Servini


Dom Servini is the man behind Wah Wah 45s, a label putting the love and detail back into soul, funk and reggae music with tight productions, crisp pressings and beautiful artwork. Expect upfront funk jams, rare afrobeat and more.

Rob Butler


After a solid apprenticeship at Piccadilly Records, Rob Butler launched the celebrated vinyl-only Be With Records in 2010, reissuing long-lost albums on quality pressings. His DJ sets range from electro-funk, pop and R&B to dub and AOR. Come and hear his soulful selections as Saturday afternoon turns into night.

Ray Mang


Turning out a quality line in slow-mo funk, sleazy disco, and electronic funk on numerous labels including DFA, Eskimo and Rong, Ray Mang is also a fine and nuanced DJ. He'll be digging into his colossal record collection for this late night session at Spiritland.

Ian Dewhirst’s Mastercuts Without Boundaries


With 45 years at the sharp end of dance music, and an untouchable heritage in music that stretches back to a residency at the Wigan Casino during the golden age of Northern Soul, Ian is one of the UK’s premier musical authorities, also creating the influential 'Mastercuts' series. Ian explores his collection throughout his monthly residency at Spiritland, touching on pretty much the complete spectrum of black and dance music from 1965 to 1990.



Chuggy is the creative force behind no less than four very special and unique labels, Emotional Rescue, Emotional Response, Especial and Sacred Summits. Deep sounds from this world and others.

Jack Sellen


Salad Soundsystem vibrations at Spiritland from 3pm onwards. Heavy on the country rock, funky folk and astral sounds.

Jesse Hackett


Jesse Hackett is a strong force in the Spiritland musical universe with several projects to his name including Elmore Judd, Owiny Sigoma Band and Gorillaz. Expect everything from modern African music, glam rock and sleazy lounge funk in his evening of music at Spiritland.
