BBC Radio 3 Late Junction broadcaster and DJ Nick Luscombe presents a night of Japanese music with rare recordings, live performance and conversation mixing the worlds of classical and avant-garde to electronic, pop and rock.
Japanese guitar legend Hotei will be chatting with Nick before playing guitar and collaborating with DJ Ski Oakenfull, for a unique instrumental jam performance.
There will be a talk and performance from London-based violinist and writer Midori Komachi, rare Japanese jazz records played by Tony Higgins, plus words and live music from Clive Bell, the Japanese music expert and performer.
