Come and dance the night away this July, right after an incredible show in the Royal Festival Hall on Saturday 16th July with the Sun Ra Arkestra, Norman Connors, Jean Carne and Gary Bartz. We'll be ready for all those ready to party afterwards, with two of the UK's heaviest funk, soul and jazz DJs - Kev Beadle and Perry Louis. Tickets are just £10 plus BF and we run until 2am.

With his early musical roots firmly in soul and jazz, Kev Beadle has been one of London’s underground jazz and soul scene’s most respected selector/tastemakers for over 35 years., playing in clubs all over the UK, Europe, Japan and the USA. Think Monday nights at The Wag with Gilles Peterson, Walk On The Wild Side alongside Patrick Forge and the legendary Sunday Afternoon sessions at Dingwalls in Camden - plus a discography in double figures, he has put together some extremely well received compilation albums since the early 90’s for labels Blue Note, Cadet, Clean Up and BBE.

He’s joined by a selector of a similarly distinguished provenance - Perry Louis, an all-round talent with a diverse mix of experience in all things related to Jazz, Boogie and Funk Music: a Dancer, Choreographer, Teacher, Promoter, Marketing, Producer - and of course DJ. He created Messin’ Around, a club night at the Jazz Café and the 100 Club in London which ran for 13 years with five compilations on Verve & Freestyle Records. He created Shiftless Shuffle, a monthly Sunday afternoon Jazz Dance club now in its 21st year and currently works with organisations to help develop Boogie & Dancefloor Jazz cultures at festivals in France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Hungary and Finland.
