Dance is the alias of Sam Purcell. Born and based in the suburbs of South London, he works as a visual designer, producer and DJ. Cavernous virtual spaces and dub-indebted bass frame his productions and sets.

His record label, Blank Mind, extends this preoccupation. Since 2011, the imprint has secured similar cuts by producers worldwide, covering hyperactivity and solace in Grenadian soca, Chicago footwork, South African gqom, UK bass and Detroit-heavy techno.
