Benji B, Osymyso, Charlotte Hatherley and secret guests perform live in King’s Cross
31/10/2018
We’re throwing a party for our new Coal Drops Yard neighbours.
When we moved into our King’s Cross home two years ago we were at the end of a side road, facing a huge building site.
Now that very same building site has blossomed into Thomas Heatherwick’s remarkable Coal Drops Yard, and to mark the occasion we’re soundtracking a huge launch party happening tomorrow.
We’ve put together a night of music on a grand scale beneath the ‘kissing’ rooftop at the heart of their site, bringing in friends and family to make some noise and rattle some bass bins – all for free.
Charlotte Hatherley and mashup maestro Osymyso have created an original composition touching on the history of King’s Cross, from coal to clubbing, played live at 6:30pm, before Benji B takes to the stage for a DJ set.
Benji B needs no introduction – from Radio 1 to Louis Vuitton, the tastemaker’s tastemaker has always dug deeper than most. The night is concluded by a unique performance from some very special guests.
We also welcome to our musical brothers and sisters in arms Honest Jons to Lower Stable Street who are running in-store events and broadcasts.
So wrap up warm and come join us as we once again reach for the lasers in King’s Cross.
