Medium J is a DJ and producer from Brighton, UK. Currently situated in South East London where he has held a residency on local radio station 'Balamii' for the past two years running the show 'Easy Dreaming'; an introspective mix series which has featured the likes of P Relief, Slowfoam and DJ Alex as special guests. His tastes can be traced as a progression from the blissed out ambient, downtempo and breaks that he plays on his radio show, all the way through to his club sets where he delves deep into house, techno and bass music to create rolling progressions of locked grooves and transcendental party music.

We're delighted to welcome The Chill Out Tent for a fortnightly Sunday session in King’s Cross. The Chill Out Tent was birthed by the ever-prolific Chris Coco and Matt Nearest Faraway during lockdown as an online space to build a community around music, arts and wellness. Now it comes to life every other Sunday in King's Cross between 1pm and 6pm.
We couldn’t think of a better soundtrack to our Sundays at Spiritland - come for the music, stay for the brunch action and Bloody Marys. It doesn't get much more Balearic than that.

Plinio is a selector and guitarist. Born and raised on the west side of Sao Paulo, Brazil, he has experienced and absorbed all of the cultural manifestations that a vibrant megalopolis can offer. Based in London for the past 6 years, he plays guitar with Los Pussatas Fritas and is part of the cultural collective Ondo Onda, which holds a monthly show at Netil Radio and promotes parties in east London. Expect South American rhythms, forgotten dances, tropical flavours and good old jazz.

Introducing the deft selector who was brought into the expansive world of music by his record obsessed, musician/producer father. It could hardly have been a greater musical introduction for Z Lovecraft (aka Mali), which meant it was only a matter of time before he made sense of his upbringing and delved head first into the music world.
When he's not scouring the bargain bins or manning the counter of YAM Records, he is twiddling knobs in the studio or busy organising the next Rhythm Section dance. This kid has musical knowledge bordering on wizardry whose enthusiasm is infectious and inspiring. With a keen ear for UK sounds and soulful grooves, we look forward to hosting Mali behind the Spiritland controls.

Producer, DJ and designer duo Good Block recently self released ’Naiad / Dryad’ following EPs ‘Aquaculture’ and ‘4 Corners EP’ after nearly 10 years of hosting parties across London. 2021 also saw them release their first remix via Heels & Souls Recordings, as well as finally committing two edits to vinyl on Orange Tree Edits 008. Aside from adding new edits to their renowned dropbox folder the duo have performed around the world in venues and festivals such as Glastonbury, Le Sucre, Tate Modern, Brilliant Corners, Nuit Sonores, Caracol and Selvagem. Recently putting out mixes on platforms such as NTS, Worldwide, Noods, LYL Radio, Kiosk, Rinse FM, LYO, Gop Tun and Planet Trip, the duos all encompassing musical ethos results in DJ sets that smudge the line between genres.

Presenter of The Illicit Grooves Radio Show on Totally Wired Radio Bob Hill has been playing records in approximately the right order since the early 90's after experiencing the Acid House, Soul All-Dayer & Weekender, Jazz Dance, Acid Jazz, Electronic & New Romantic and Jazz Dance scenes throughout his 80's adolescence and taking the best of all of them. If the Return of the Illicit Groove project has an ethos then it is that the groove is paramount over the genre and all forms of Black music can be found in Bob's DJ sets thus which reflecting the Illicit Grooves tagline of #GroovesForTheGlobalLEFTfield.

Originally known for intrepid Live PA sets across the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver dating back to 2012, DJ psoas (fmr Soul Ipsum) via Portland, OR lets music tell the story, with mixes designed to let go, with downtempo, breakbeat music and world textures. Radio DJ and producer, psoas aka Wyatt Schaffner, has released on labels such as 1080p, Arcane, and Lillerne Tapes, with live sets and DJ opportunities across the US and Mexico CIty shaping their sound. As DB Looper, they release conscious ambient music shaped by a social message, spreading a message of connection amid isolation. We're looking forward to Wyatt's Spiritland debut.

Helen Noir is a London-based composer, producer, operatic vocalist and DJ. She writes and produces for film, theatre and fashion and regular plays at nights and venues such as Adonis, The Glory and Dalston Superstore. Steeped in multiple genres of electronic music, Helen is an extremely versatile DJ with a particular love of vocal-led house and disco and is best known for sets that showcase strong femme voices and peerless old-school production. She is also a long term member of cult performance art group Theo Adams Company, for whom she produces music as well as appearing on stage.

Studio Batsumi is a new London-based Dj duo formed by records collector Marta and music producer and drummer Fede. Both originally from Italy they have been active in the London music scene since 2010, having played venues such as Brilliant Corners, Village Underground, and festivals such as Dimensions in Croatia. Since they’ve started Studio Batsumi in early 2022 they’ve hosted a monthly show on local Hoxton radio Loose.FM, blending electronic music with organics jams their eclectic sound is influenced by different styles and genres, from deep and tribal house to Afro Disco, Reggae, and Dub. Expect all of this (and more) for their debut Spiritland set.

Simply put, Rhythm Doctor is a supreme DJ. His knowledge and passion for classy music is second to none.
Quite possibly one of the country's longest-serving club DJs, Chris began on the 1970s Midlands punk/dub scene, before taking house, boogie, funk and more to London and beyond throughout the 1980s. Now based in Tallinn, Estonia, Chris joins us for another rare appearance. Expect an eclectic affair, taking in reggae, funk, jazz, latin, disco, house & modern electronica. The roots of selection being the deep vibration of bass and the beat of the drum.

We are delighted to team up with Poon’s for our latest supper club.
The first Poon’s Restaurant opened in 1973 in Chinatown, followed three years later by the iconic and beloved Covent Garden site at 41 King Street (now a Burberry store.) It was the definitive Chinese food hotspot throughout the 1970s, with everyone from Mick Jagger to Barbara Streisand dining there. In 1980, Bill Poon was awarded a Michelin Star and restaurants in Geneva and The City followed.
Coming to the present day, Bill and Cecilia’s daughter Amy has brought back Poon’s, cooking Chinese food from the heart and with love. We were delighted to collaborate with her during our time at JOY in Portobello - now we’re bringing her and her team to Spiritland Royal Festival Hall for a one-off night of Chinese food, drinks and music.
