Dan Tenor-City was amongst the first DJs to play at Spiritland way back when. Dan has released on BBE via his Deep Tenor City project and plays as far afield as Miami. We welcome him back to King's Cross for a funked-up Friday night.
Valentine did such an immaculate job the last time she came through, we fast tracked her return to Spiritland.
Valentine digs grooves from around the world creating a sonic journey through different times and regions. Her selection includes Middle Eastern Disco, Nigerian Funk, Brazilian Boogie, Salsa, House and Hip Hop amongst other gems.
On “low key and local”, her monthly show on Netil Radio, she interviews musicians and DJs about the events they organise, with a focus on building or reinforcing communities.
Heels and Souls
Heels & Souls is the London based not-for-profit party, reissue label and the DJ duo of Ben Croft and Patrick Forrester.
Usually to be found at The Pickle Factory they’ve built a devoted, warm party and to date, they have raised over £50,000 for various charitable causes.
Unconstrained by genre their impassioned sets navigate anything from lovers rock, UK street soul and dancehall to slinky 90s house, tech house and progressive, with a soulful thread connecting the dots along with their deep-digging and smooth blends. We’re delighted to welcome them back to Spiritland for a Tuesday night session.
Yaara Haim is an artist, producer, composer and selector based in Jerusalem.
Her debut album 'Lonicera' released last summer, reveals her delicate singing through mesmerizing melodies that give a sense of familiarity, and a diverse and full inner world that creates a unique sound environment and consists of various musical instruments whether analog or digital.
As a musical artist, she explores turntable methods. Her live show (SHOD) is an abstract turntable performance, where broken vinyl parts are placed on top of each other and develop a dynamic soundscape.
As a DJ and music selector, Yaara hosts a monthly radio show at Teder.fm where she's exploring the many faces of jazz,
sweet soul and experimental synth-pop, leaving her unique trademark in the alternative and experimental music scenes. We welcome her for a Spiritland debut on a Tuesday night.
Angel is a maker of swampy, utopian dance musick with 1 foot in the klub and one in the footspa. Co-owner of GreenBelt recordings and half of Angel Rocket, he’s released music on France’s Good Morning Tapes and Bristol’s Accidental Meetings among others. Expect a wide palette of breezy sounds, from oddball house to subterranean dub.
Marlon Celestine: ex-Mukatsuku member who can be found at South London Soul Train as well as the annual only PurpleMusic event has been planning nights and playing London clubs for the last thirty years.
Born in Port Of Spain, he fell in love with two turntables and a mixer at the age of sixteen whilst fooling around with two copies of ‘When Doves Cry’. We welcome him to Spiritland for his return set on a Friday night.

It's been too long! Susanna returns to our place. Susanna is a London-based DJ born in Estonia and raised in Sweden. She's the curator of "Shit Day Shampoo", a monthly radio show on IDA Radio and resident DJ behind electronic music party series "Marrakech" in Tallinn.
She'll be curating an evening of cosmic disco, international soul, new jazz, balearic and other electronic music for Spiritland.
