We're really delighted to have her at Spiritland for a Saturday night to remember.

- Jazz/Funk/Soul
Two disco bandoleros pioneering their own route through the great electronic wilderness.
With their boots firmly planted in dusty seventies sunsets, their panamerican productions take cosmic country funk to club and festival dancefloors via NYC latin disco and baggy acid house.
Think the first summer of love meeting the second – Crosby, Stills and Nash at the Haçienda, The Doors at Shoom, The Orb at Woodstock.
At Spiritland, they'll be carving a path between the country and latino forms of soul, funk and disco.

Jon Marsh
09/09/2018
- Balearic
Jon Marsh recorded and released music as The Beloved from Peel Session beginnings in 1985 until the release of 'X' in 1996. The project has been cryogenically frozen since then but is beginning to thaw, the catalogue having finally been prised from corporate clutches. Every mix of every track is currently being assembled and prepared for an internet rebirth, plus new material.
From 1992-2005 Jon regularly DJed all over the UK & Europe, plus the USA & Australia. He held monthly residencies at MOS and Fabric, as well as recurring bookings at mainstream and underground house clubs.
Parenthood curtailed the DJ work, but he occasionally resurfaces wielding his take on balearic: "Think eclectic style not flamenco somnambulists". His Spiritland debut will be a scenic route through the unconventional.

Spiritland is joining forces with Southbank Centre for Concrete Lates, bringing together forward-thinking DJs Lovefingers and Jane Fitz for a night of transportive electronic dance music within the exquisitely-refurbished, cavernous foyer of the Queen Elizabeth Hall.
Jane Fitz's sets are at once recognisable, yet each different from the last. Drawing on music such as deep house, psychedelic techno and early acid, the unique thread that runs through Jane's hypnotic selections takes her from devotee-filled basements to boats, beaches and mountains.
The same 'anything goes' mentality exists too with LA native Lovefingers, whose trademark sounds of underground disco, house and techno comfortably cohabit on the dancefloor. His ESP Institute imprint releases regularly find their way into the bags of heavyhitters like DJ Harvey, Andrew Weatherall and Todd Terje.
Other collaborators on Concrete Lates include names from the cutting edge of electronic music such as Discwoman, Hyperdub Records, Kiasmos and Boiler Room. We're delighted to join these names with this doubled-up night of musical exploration and celebration.
