When sound system culture and underground dance music came together in Bristol in the late 1980s, Queen Bee was one of the main DJs championing new music.

Through the launch of pirate radio station Emergency FM in Bristol, she bought her sound to the ears of many and formed long lasting musical friendships with the likes of Massive Attack’s Daddy G, moving on to tour with the band for over a decade and recently performing as part of their 20th anniversary reunion for the Mezzanine album. After making history in '92 by opening the UK's first all female radio station Fem FM she took regular trips to West Africa to support and DJ on Radio 1 in Gambia.

She has continued to maintain her influence as a tastemaker, curating emerging talent like Eva Lazarus and Tiffany Juno alongside her signature dancehall, afrobeat and house style. Expect an eclectic mix of deeply-mined musical treasures.

With their boots firmly planted in dusty seventies sunsets, their panamerican productions take cosmic country funk to club and festival dancefloors via NYC latin disco and baggy acid house.
