Music head Delia is actively and proudly involved in a wide range of exciting projects.

Delia presents weekly show 'Counterpoint' on Soho Radio, assists some of the finest independent record labels out there such as Wah Wah 45s, First Word Records, Total Refreshment Records and Mashibeats, as well as co-producing LA-based radio show 'The Expedition Radio x Dash Radio', all whilst looking to bring other ideas to life.

She spends most (if not all) of her free time with headphones on, digging for new, old, obscure, forgotten, under-appreciated records. Her Counterpoint show is testament to her eclectic musical tastes, blending jazz with gospel, hip hop, soul, beats, psychedelia and whatever else tickles her earbuds, always with a strong narrative behind her selections.

Shuya is a DJ and creative director of Kyoto Jazz Massive and Tokyo Crossover/Jazz Festival.

As a DJ, Shuya regularly tours Japan and worldwide, mostly throughout Europe and America, having played at The Jazz Cafe and Notting Hill Arts Club, APT New York, Southport Weekender, Future Jazz Festival, Croatian festivals among many.

Shuya continues to be an important figure in the disco and jazz scene worldwide – we're delighted to welcome him to Spiritland King's Cross.

Singer, electronic rock-sitarist, producer and performer Bishi was born in London of Bengali heritage. A multi-instrumentalist, BISHI received musical training in both Hindustani and Western Classical styles, including the study of the sitar under Gaurav Mazumdar a senior disciple of Ravi Shankar.

As well as having released three albums to her name, Bishi's also the co-founder of WITCiH: The Women in Technology Creative Industries Hub, a platform elevating Women & Non-Binary in tech through commissions, performances & panels.

Tony 'Jazz Dad' Higgins plays extended and exploratory sets spanning jazz, reggae, psych, blues, soul, Americana, disco, afro and Latin.

With a background in music management and promotion, Tony also worked in TV for several years, working on landmark BBC documentaries including 'Jazz Britannia' and 'Seven Ages of Rock'. He produced a live concert film in Los Angeles with multi-Grammy winning legend Emmylou Harris and is a music consultant to several specialist record labels, providing sleeve notes and advising on deep archive reissues.

Most recently, Tony has worked closely with renowned disco/jazz//funk label BBE Music on 'J Jazz', a compilation and reissue series of Japanese jazz rarities from the 70s and 80s.

Expect to hear a greasy rhythm and blues 45 alongside some scorching funk mixed up with roots reggae and super fine jazz, plus much more.

If he’s not crafting a melancholy folk rock diamond in his Northern California studio, he’s moving a dancefloor with bossa nova or house DJ sets, or helping curate a compilation of Japanese City Pop.

El & Del are South East London selectors, Ellen & Danielle – best mates and vinyl obsessives, who came together in the summer of 2018 after realising their passion for digging and combined record collection was something they wanted to share with the world.

The girls run their monthly 'Cosmic Love' night across London, with guest DJs including Sam Hardaker (Zero 7) – taking the dancefloor on a musical journey of vinyl sounds from across the globe.

They're known for their lively and eclectic strictly sets, playing regularly at venues including Ace Hotel, Peckham Springs, Hand of Glory and Four Quarters, with upcoming sets at Love Supreme Jazz festival, BBE Store and supporting Wally Badarou at Peckham's Bussey Building.

For Spiritland, they'll be digging deep into their record collection to bring a sonic blend of ambient, balearic, funk and soul, and deep disco cuts.

Super Disco Edits started out as a re-edits label, then morphed into specialising in finding and releasing completely unknown and/or unreleased soul, funk and disco.
