Niles and Baggy tell it best in their own words:

"We know emotion, we live emotion, we are emotion. We know pain and we know glory. It courses through our veins and drowns our hearts. Love and hate, joy and sadness, anger and fear – we are in touch with our souls. We ain’t afraid to cry, but then we aren’t reticent to strip to the waist and beat our chests in a display of primal expression either. And this shit needs soundtracking and to be made available to stream on the internet and we need it now."

When sound system culture and underground dance music came together in Bristol in the late 1980s, Queen Bee was one of the main DJs championing new music.

After making history in '92 by opening the UK's first all female radio station Fem FM she took regular trips to West Africa to support and DJ on Radio 1 in Gambia.

She has continued to maintain her influence as a tastemaker, curating emerging talent like Eva Lazarus and Tiffany Juno alongside her signature dancehall, afrobeat and house style. Expect an eclectic mix of deeply-mined musical treasures.

He developed his wide range of afro, disco, dub, funk and dance edits that create a colourful fusion of sounds, whilst building parties to share music and digging crates along the journey.

Ollie is founder of Secret Ingredient, a UK-based independent music and events company.
