Lifelong friends Simon See and Graham Luckhurst share a love of deeper sounds; from jazz, sludge boogie, Brazilian, experimental electronics, psyche & folk, alt-yacht, hip hop, techno and everything in between. Despite sharing music with each other on an almost daily basis for the last 15 years or so they very rarely get a chance to spin together, so are very excited about this one.
Graham was a major force in the recent successes of Mr Bongo, before stepping away to focus on his own projects at the end of 2019. He now runs the Pressure Makes Diamonds label with collector-selector extraordinaire Gary Johnson; helps Joey Negro run his Z Records imprint and Radio 1’s Friction and Keir Tyrer with their Shogun Audio and Elevate labels. Graham also produces under several aliases and has released on labels including Brownswood, WOLF Music, Quintessentials, Future Disco, Mr Bongo, Toolroom and others.
Simon is head honcho at footwear brand S.W.C. His selections represent his values of inclusivity and freedom of thought.
They also ran the Brighton-based 'Basement Soul' club session from 2005 to 2008, along with Amar Patel.
