Half East Records with Deejay Nye and Harrison David

Half East Records is a collective based in London and Bristol, founded in 2023. Focused on uplifting ESEA DJs, artists and creatives, they curate genre-spanning events that blend music with storytelling. Through community-focused events and collaborations, Half East Records is building a platform for visibility, connection and celebration of ESEA talent in the UK.

Deejay Nye is a Filipino-British DJ and promoter from London, and co-founder of Half East Records, a collective that platforms ESEA (East and Southeast Asian) DJs, artists, and creatives. His eclectic sets create a unique “East meets West” fusion, blending City Pop, Disco, Boogie, Jazz, House, Vaporwave, Budots, Rare Groove, and more, using both vinyl and digital. He also hosts the monthly shows ‘Dream In The Street’ on LOOSE.FM and ‘dream-cast’ on Voices Radio, and has been featured on Worldwide.fm, Foundation.fm and Netil Radio.

Harrison David is a South-East London based DJ and record collector. As a self-confessed music nerd, he draws from the 70's New York DJ culture and the 80's Balearic scene. He looks to channel this free-spirited vibe in his sets, playing an eclectic range of sounds from across a wide array of genres and geographies. Harrison has played at a variety of venues across London, including Brilliant Corners, Brixton Jamm, Avalon Cafe, Skylarking, Jazu, Tasty Bakery & Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes.
