Mark Padmore and Elaine Mitchener perform at an evening of conversation to launch London Sinfonietta’s new digital channel.
This dedicated platform presents a curated selection of new music programmes and online concerts including the beautifully produced film of Tansy Davies and Nick Drake’s opera Cave, first staged in June 2018 at Printworks London, a disused factory in South-East London.
Performed by tenor Mark Padmore and mezzo-soprano Elaine Mitchener, alongside the ensemble and conductor Geoffrey Paterson, the opera is available to watch online for a limited time.
To launch this new digital initiative, the ensemble presents a live evening of artist discussions from the creative team behind Cave, including a short performance from one section of the opera by Padmore and Mitchener.
