Spiritland Royal Festival Hall opens
17/12/2018
We’ve opened our largest location in London, a 180-cover restaurant in Royal Festival Hall.
Spiritland Royal Festival Hall brings an early-morning to late-night celebration of food, drink and music culture to Europe’s largest arts centre with a 2:00am license.
The new location adds increased culinary discovery by way of newly-appointed Group Head Chef Moondog (The Providores and Tapa Room) and an open grill and oyster bar. Our New Zealand-born chef brings his intrepid antipodean nature and flavour-forward style to a fresh and inspired menu of sharing plates and unapologetic twists on classic favourites.
A DINING ROOM OF SONIC ARCHITECTURE
In a departure from the familiar 1970s Japanese HiFi references that inspired the interior of Spiritland King’s Cross, our Royal Festival Hall restaurant nods to the performing arts with an atmospheric, theatrical interior intended to comfort you well into the small hours.
WORLD-CLASS SOUND SYSTEM
Once again, we worked on the sound system with longtime collaborators Living Voice, the Nottinghamshire-based custom speaker workshop, whose vintage Air Partner speakers have been reconceived for the space.
SPIRITLAND TALKS & GUEST DJs
We’re taking our successful programme of talks and events to Royal Festival Hall as well, this time with the help of arts broadcaster John Wilson, best known as the host of BBC Radio 4’s Front Row.
At Spiritland Royal Festival Hall, music lovers play the cream of their collections from Thursday through Saturday nights, with residencies from some of London’s most discerning musical creatives.
