Gavin Lucas (co-founder of much-loved lockdown project Amateurism Radio) and Neil Mitchell have been digging in crates for over three decades. While their musical tastes, interests and record collections are wildly eclectic, they intersect in the swamplands of the USA.
Their love of low-slung, swampy, southern soul, funk, blues and jazz – mostly from the late 1960s and early 70s – is what these “soul gumbo" sessions are all about. Join us as they dust off an impressive selection of rare 45s and album-only rarities too.

Expect cosmic rock and disco mixed in with some mind-melty balearic oddities. Maybe a few sonic pleasures of the 80s too.
