- Disco
- Global
- Jazz/Funk/Soul
One of Italy’s best kept secrets, Andrea Passenger is a passionate lover of all black things in music, with an uncommon sensitivity for particular and unique tunes. His selections give life to imaginary scenarios that transport the dancefloor from the intensity of Detroit to the hedonism of New York, from the darkness of a suburban club to the first lights of the dawn of an open air.
Over the years he has joined the Jazz:Re:Found Festival DJ crew, after being a resident of the 'Boogie Nights' parties. He manages the record labels Dora Exp and Icon Of Desire, his productions are published by labels all over Europe, while his dj friendly reworks can be found on Light Touches Records, Rain&Shine, Musica Altra. He also hosts monthly shows on Radio Banda Larga (IT) and Universal Rhythms (UK).
Hopeless vinyl addict, from the post-punk teenage years Angie quickly switched to the black music universe, starting collecting 7"s (R&B, exotica, latin) and then arriving to funk, soul, afrobeat and to jazz in all its shades.
Remaining true to the motto “I tried with the four-on-the-floor, but I can’t make it”, Angie tempted dancefloors and festivals.
She’s been hosting radio shows for several years and she’s currently working as journalist, social media manager, communication strategist for festivals, events and labels.

Bump N Hustle: 30th Anniversary (Purveyors of Quality Grooves 1992-2022)
Friends Bob Povey & Jon Coomer came together as Bump N Hustle in 1992. Both DJs were individually guests and residents at some of the souths top club music venues leading up to the resurgance of the weekender events at the end of the 80's.
One of the countries best events happened in Bournemouth at the Showbar on the pier during the Summer bank holidays and it was at the end of this event that Bob was asked to run another event on a more regular basis. Bob asked Jon to come on board with the project and they gave life to Bump N Hustle in October 1992...
The event had one sole aim. To play dance music targetted at people that wanted a place to call their own, current street soul, garage, house, jazzfunk and rare gems in one room all night long... The next 10 years brought together a 3 room event supported by a group of resident djs including Trevor Nelson, Simon Dunmore, ATFC, Aitch B, Ronnie Herel, Mad Flava, Terry Hunter & DJ Bigger. The rest as is history still in the making...
Bump N Hustle currently deliver 3 room events showcasing House music, RnB & A Chinstrokers eclectic session in Bournemouth on the Bank Holiday weekends at Bar So. Featuring regular top of their game guest DJ's across the rooms from Atjazz and DJ Spen to Jazzy Jeff and London event pioneer DJ/Producers Bobby & Steve...
With an expansive dance music background preceding the digital era, any opportunity to put away the USB sticks and load up the vinyl boxes is graciously up taken if the vibe is right...
