As part of our tenth birthday celebrations in King's Cross, we're teaming up with our friends from the Seed Library for a skills swap situation.

It all starts on the 9th September as their bar team head over to Spiritland to get busy in our bar, overseen by the cocktail maestro Mr Lyan.

Later on, we head over to the Seed Library with record bags in hand for three nights of music from Spiritland family, Flying Mojito Bros, Giles Smith and Paul Noble.

Born in Chicago, Seasoned in NYC, Joe Jeffers loves music. He is a singer and a songwriter, he bleeps and bloops, DJs, and spends a lot of time organizing community projects for working artists. Jeffers is no stranger to UK, as a founding member of the club Exit Glasgow as well as Senior Advisor at Anti Social Camp.

As a DJ his sets often incorporate club sounds from his home city Chicago, left field bass from Manchester and Bristol, as well as latin sounds amassed from his time in Colombia and Puerto Rico. Check out Joe’s most recent album The Problem Explaining.

Sofia D'Angelo is a singer songwriter and DJ working in New York City. Her solo EP “TIME” was released on September 15th, ushering in a new solo era for the industry veteran. TIME showcases D’Angelo’s reflective dance pop sensibilities, providing a formidable field guide for the young and ambitious. Sofia is also a founding member of the now defunct super group MICHELLE. D’Angelo’s DJ sets weave together the artist’s innumerable influences across RnB, rock, and pop, keeping Manhattan dance floors energized.

As part of our celebrations of ten years in King's Cross, everyone's favourite spirits authority hosts a night of whisky tasting, soundtracked bythe genuine sound of the 1960s Japan bar scene.

Forget the smooth listening bar end of things, this will be a night of exotic drams, swinging organ jazz, distorted surf guitar, wild vocals, beaded curtains and heavy eyeliner (optional).

Valentina Pahor is a genre-defying DJ and producer at the intersection of global rhythm and underground club culture.

Her sets are groove-driven, leftfield electronic music built on world-influenced textures. Raw edits and records move between house, deep house, disco, Latin, funk, jazz, and dub—dancefloor-focused and club-ready.

She has played in New York, Miami, London, Istanbul, and Italy, with appearances at Nublu, Dante's HiFi, Apollo Club, MAD Radio, and festivals including Burning Man and Ricci Weekender.

Bill Brewster has been part of every incarnation of Spiritland from the early Merchants Tavern days to the Lisbon warehouse parties, as well as some racous Low Life club nights at Royal Festival Hall (RIP).

He's also hosted talks with Dennis Morris, Dennis Bovell and Hamish Stuart.

He comes to Spiritland for a rare bar set to join in our month of birthday celebrations.
